Softwood is the most economical shipping platform available. It is the standard limited-use pallet designed for an average of up to nine trips, with an average of five handlings per trip in an average environment.
 
 

PALLET DESIGN TYPE

Softwood is offered as two different Pallet Design Types: Stringer and Block.
The Stringer is standard pallet design while the Block is designed for more accessibility for moving the pallet.

PALLET STYLES

Softwood is offered in three different Pallet Styles: Double Face Reversible,
Double Face Non-Reversible, and Single Face.

ENTRY TYPES

Softwood is offered in two different Entry Types: 2-Way or 4-Way
2-Way - A pallet without notches in the stringers. Its unnotched solid stringers allow entry from only the two opposite pallet ends.
4-Way - A pallet with notched solid stringers to allow entry from both ends and both sides. Forklift access is through the notched stringers.

PALLET DECK STYLE

Softwood is offered in three different Pallet Deck Styles: Flush, Double Wing, Single Wing.

• Softwood Pallet Lengths and Widths can be sized to your needs.
• Dimensions are all customer based.
• The standard Softwood pallet size is 48 x 40.
